Al Haghdan is a Retirement Income Specialist and founder of Senior Insurance Advisors, established in 2018. He works with individuals and couples ages 59–70 to build structured retirement income plans that integrate Medicare planning, long-term care considerations, tax-efficient strategies, and sustainable income design.
With more than 24 years in financial services, Al brings a diverse background that includes over a decade in banking as a Branch Manager and Business Lender, and ownership of Platinum Mortgage. Throughout his career, he has helped families and business owners navigate complex financial decisions. This experience gives him a practical understanding of risk, leverage, cash flow, and long-term planning.
After years of seeing retirees struggle with fragmented advice and avoidable income mistakes, Al shifted his focus from product to coordination and strategy. His approach emphasizes clarity, simplicity, and reducing unnecessary risk. Through Retirement Income Strategy Sessions, he helps clients design dependable income plans built to withstand market volatility, inflation, rising healthcare costs, and longevity.
He also guides clients in thinking through how their assets will pass to beneficiaries. At a high level, he educates clients on how wills and trusts function, including the potential impact of probate, so they can make informed decisions and work effectively with legal professionals.
Outside of work, Al enjoys pickleball, biking, and hiking with his wife and their dog. He believes retirement should be active, intentional, and financially secure.
The decision to purchase Long-Term Care insurance is a big one with definite financial consequences, both in terms of premiums and future personal care.
